WORK SCHEDULE UPDATE
Exhibition work has dominated my schedule for the past few months but I can now see the end and I can get back to taking on commission work for completion during the summer. My lead time for delivery is currently 6-8 weeks from date of order. (Not from the date shown on this posting, which I've postdated to keep it on top.)

Apologies if this is a problem
Thank you

Wow! I think that's exciting to be all booked up with people wanting your artwork! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine.
ReplyDeleteIts quite scary .... We increased my prices from Jan 1st thinking that would probably deter some potential clients (and I want to reduce my commission workload this year) but I've just turned down 2 enquiries (one was a 'multiple people/family portrait') and had 2 new enquiries this week.
Seems the recession isn't having too much impact after all :-)
Congratulations Sue on having a full booking to halfway through the year.
ReplyDeleteI wish I has a little of your luck.
Best wishes
6 months of booking is wonderful! It was so good to hear from you Sue on my pictures of Jackie. I have been such a lazy blogger for some time now. I miss it but I have so much going on that is just mundain I don't feel a lot of inspiration to share. :) I haven't been taking many photographs either. I have got to shake this dreary feeling out of my soul and get my juices going! We have had lots of sunshine this winter too so I can't blame it on that! Anyway, thanks for making contact and I keep up on your blog and glad you are so busy.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you have such a succesful business :)
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wish I was not so stressed by commissions, and got into accepting requests more...
