15/11: ANOTHER CHILD PORTRAIT FINISHED




This portrait was delivered yesterday to our friend who is the boys' grandmother. Sadly the older of the two boys died 3 years ago so the portrait was based on the last school photo of the two together. It is intended as a Christmas present for their parents so I hope they are pleased with it

    You've really cheered me up. I've been battling to stave off a cold this weekend but its hit me with a vengeance this morning so I feel rather miserable (you know how these common colds bring you down and it takes twice as long to do simple tasks - although there's still a chance it could turn into real MAN FLU and I could retire to bed to sleep it off)!!!

    Sue, this ended up perfect! I'm sure everyone involved will be VERY pleased with it.

    So sorry you've gotten a cold and hope it doesn't turn into anything worse!

    Wash your hands a lot and drink lots of water (the alcohol in the wine really doesn't kill the germs! lol) and make sure you get lots of rest.

    Thanks for your comments Jan - and your help and encouragement along the way with this one.

    I'm back working on a horse pastel today so not doing anything too tiring - went for a long walk yesterday and I think the fresh air helped but the weather is truly awful here today - very strong winds and lots of heavy showers so I have no wish to venture outside!
