02/08: BROOM BROOM ...... (sorry)!

Couldn't think of a better title.

One of our poor old apple trees is so heavy with fruit that the lower branches were dragging the ground.   My 'instant' fix has taken some of the weight off its shoulders :o)

  2. Dear Sue,
Thank you for visiting my blog! Wow!! Your blog is full of wonderful art work, nice photos a lovely sense of humour!! Please keep up! Regarding the apples above, another solution is Sadami's widely opened mouth under the treesʚ(ˆ◡ˆ)ɞ.
    Best regards, Sadami

  3. These apples are fairly late croppers - usually September but without help I don't think the branches could support the weight for that long.

You'd be very welcome Sadami ... but would have to fight my horse for pole position!

  4. Great photo, Sue! I say to use whatever works & yes, you'd probably have some broken branches without the brooms! Of course, you could thin the crop a bit.
