Just a bit of fun (if it works).
That actually is a photo of me but the photo manipulation of the 'singing' mouth makes it look as though I've had Botox ... you know how ladies that 'go under the knife' end up with stretched lips .. yuk!
I've no idea who the cat is ... just picked him up along the way.

PS: I've just been told by fellow Blogger Sherry Crimson Leaves that the video doesn't work overseas. Having checked the T&C of the video site they clearly state that its for use in the UK only - hindsight is a wonderful thing ... so apologies if you've tried and failed to see the video.

So glad you had a lazy Sunday, Sue. That always feels good. As to the sizing you posted below, I really like the cropped piece which takes away a lot of the negative space. But that is a decision only you can make. Now? I am off to see your video!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know the link does not work for those outside of the UK.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry - I think I will go with the smaller crop (saves me having to finish the bottom section of the veil anyway).
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me about the video. I've just read the terms & conditions and it states that the video can only be viewd in the UK - I should have checked first!
The link works fine in Canada. I like that puddy tat. I would have adopted him.
ReplyDeleteYes, the link worked fine, out here on the west coast. Cute and silly - you must have had fun making it!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your comments on the hydrangea and the tug paintings. I like the hyd. for exactly those reasons - its striking simplicity. And I am glad I am re-doing the tug painting, and prefer the green colors and the vertical format.
OK ... sing along ... one more time ... :)
Hi Jo and Kathryn
ReplyDeleteStrange how the video works in some countries outside the UK, and not others .. anyway it was just a piece of fun but I too love the cat. He hits the notes I can't LOL
Bloody brilliant!!! No wonder you are a great artist, with those flaming arms you could do anything. Must have a go at that myself!
ReplyDeleteYep I can even ride a bike (which I can't in real life)!
ReplyDeleteIf you do it yourself, pick a picture where you aren't smiling otherwise the mouth gets really distorted
